I am a revolver lover and tend to lean more to the old school firearms. As a employee at a local gun shop I hope to share knowledge that I have learned over the years. If your not into revolvers, or have thought about revolvers run do not walk it's a ton of FUN!

In love with the color much? Might as well put it behind glass before it gets messed up.
good morning JW ! Love the Model 29 in taxi driver, but also love the fact that when Travis buys the 29, he also buys an Astra Constable at the same time...a gun i've owned for 35 years. ( it is identified as a Walther by Suitcase Dave in the movie, but you can clearly see the large Astro circle logo on the front of the barrel)
The only thing I would do is use the Wilson Combat aftermarket steel rear adjustable sight and replace that rear sight that came on it from the factory.
That sir is a big beautiful revolver! 👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
Best grips period ..have 2 sets and just waiting for next email for more
Crazy expensive for repros done on CNC, but nice none the less. Pro tip, use a peice of Scotch cellophane tape over your hollow ground driver bit, you're welcome.
original grips in this condition easily out price Deerhollow stuff IF you can find em
Hello J.W! Some suggestions on how to buy and keep the guns you enjoy. I suggest people get into the Trades. Plumbing, election, Lineman and Trucking. The first 3 you can apprentice. They pay you while you learn on the job. Trucking they will develop you after you get your C.D.L. license. Depending on area you can start at $25 an hour. Then work up to $35- $45 an hour plus benefits. As an experienced truck driver it's not uncommon to get $35 plus benefits. Of course inflation and housing costs play into this. If you save your money and mind your pennies you could buy a new Colt every month if one wanted to. I am a C.D.L. Instructor. It's not uncommon to see my Students get significant raises and job security just for getting thier Commercial Drivers License. Just some thoughts from a Revolver lover. Best Wishes from Montana! M.H.
Morning J.W. I haven't owned a Colt revolver yet, but I do have some vintage Smiths. Was curious if the Smiths bluing is as sexy as the Colt revolver bluing. Maybe that helps to justify the higher cost of a Colt. A side by side comparison would be cool! Great show as always!
J.W, I hope you have a great weeked and the S&W 29 looks nice to. I have the same 29 but the one I have was made 1986 with no pined barell and no box. I know that its nice to have the original box it helps in the sale.Any thoughts on the new King Cobra in 22 LR ? Thanks for reading are comments, Slim.
Lethal weapon and Die Hard yes sir I still have my M9A3 but years ago I gave a good friend my original 92 as he needed a better carry option that SDVE he had was super inaccurate and unreliable. Got to love the 29 my brother I will never trade any of mine in they have too much meaning to me
Man I just got that 29🇺🇸🫡
I’ve been wanting a 4.25” blued to go with my 1981 vintage Model 29-2. But I’m ngl the 6” in blued has really grown on me. If I get one there’s three mods I’m doing to it. 1-2 is a new set of Wilson combat sights (gold bead with serrated rear) and a more correct looking set of target grips. Add a bianchi x15 and I’m set.
Great stuff! Don Blake
Talk about a beautiful girl in history and seems to be all original and that is very odd and in the self specially like you said they just disrespect or but then again you know in a war you're in a hurry to get things done if you ever want to get rid of it and you just want to find somebody that wants a new home without paying and I take it laughing out loud seriously I'd keep that if I was here to the passing On to the Next Generation thank you for showing this awesome history of beauty of this gun thank you
ICarryOne is a cool guy. He's the kind of neighborhood guy you'd normally learn a lot from. How to sharpen a knife, change spark plugs, tell a woman you're sorry. Important life information.
Ahh yes the Keylock.... Rather have the older Smith without it...
My most accurate revolver!. After 2 shots touching in the X ring at a 50 foot range, I turned to my buddy and asked "How much?". It was some time ago but at $450 I jumped on it.
Sold this one off myself.
@BATJACJW Oh No! I tend to hold on to guns but many enjoy selling, swapping, buying. All part of the fun.
I want these grips says out of stock , will he be making more
His grips are in high demand and he is a one man shop so you gotta get on the notification email list and buy them when they pop up fast.
Ok thanks
Is the 1911 the most complicated handgun to breakdown completely?
Beautiful gun I got my CQB earlier this year and its the best pistol I have ever owned. I will never part with it
This is a fantastic video. Y’all play off of each other so naturally, it’s a joy to listen to.
I’m looking to purchase a model 10. My question is, which is preferred, one that is pre model 10 or, one that is model 10-? Thanks, appreciate your opinion.
Mine is identical luv the grips
Now i have to go check out that Colt 22. May be another to add to the ever growing list!
That’s why I personally prefer Tisas , they have all forged parts!
Thank You, Great Episode.
Glad you enjoyed it
When it comes to speed loaders there are multiple types some twist some push etc, hitting the grips is a common thing glad you had an easy fix and didn't have to mess with the grips!
Hi BATJAC, thanks for your thoughts. My interests in firearms is also history and film and television as well. As for me someone who is Speaking of movie cop guns you haven't got a Die Hard, Leathal Weapon, Walker Texas Ranger gun, the Beretta 92. Either .22lr or 9mm. Have a great weekend.
Morning J.W and I agree with on the new Colt revolvers. I'm working on filling up a new piggy bank for one of the new Colts. I remeber back in the late 80s at the gun shows seeing them and how pricey thay were so I did'nt want to spend that kind of money but the new ones seem beter made and a decent price.Have a great weekend ,Slim.
LEWIS LEAD REMOVING KIT CAN FIT THAT PROBLEM. PLUS USE CAST BULLETS OR USE LESS POWDER. NOT A REAL PYTHON ANYWAY.
Badass colt python 357 magnum revolver
Badass revolver
🔥🙌🏼
Enjoy your Walther, Mr. Bond.
good morning JW !! Love to see the Rooster Shooter still hanging around. A lot of fun vids were made with that pistol, plus it spawned a bunch of great grips too 🙂
GREAT VID BEAUTIFUL COLT, Question: do the roll marks come with the gold inlay like yours or is that something you did? my 4.25 blued Python will be in by this friday of asking this question can't wait to hold her Best Regards
just beautiful
Made by tisas in turkey, assembled and fluffed and buffed some by springfield
Is that the one Hunter said he threw away ?
I think most companies nowadays really are not paying attention to what the customer wants they rely on their name alone to make sales it is good to see Colt has done a good job regarding new models but if they ain't following the true old Colt that the consumer wants eventually they will have a hard time. 44 is the way my 29 brother!!!
I am a wood guy. If you look at the bottom of the grip you will notice a perfect " book matched" grain. Beautiful, beautiful grips.....done the right way!!
I just bought one with a 6 1/2 inch barrel. I prefer the longer barrels myself.
I want a 4" 25-5 and have for years
Man what kinda grips are those? They pair the gun beautifully
Morning Batjac. Definitely something cool about a single action army. Tucotheratt is a channel that does fast draws and triple shots but you have to do some gunsmithing to fan those guns or you'll ruin them. Great show as always!
Mine was made before it got the Model 10 name. My research indicated mfg date to be 1906 (s/n 106047). It's also stamped with "Patent Feb 3, 1903 & May 16, 1905". It was in rough shape when I got it from a friend. She said her dad had it under his bed for more than 40 yrs. I found his hunting license inside the stock dated 1940. I spent several weeks refurbishing it and it looks like new and shoots very well.
Very very informative just broke down serviced and reassembled my dad's 1968 357 Magnum your video made it a breeze thank you so much and God bless!
Unfortunately, the chemicals Colt used in the past were toxic, and there is nowhere that they can use them anymore. The new process is as close as they could get, but they did say that the finish will stay on better. I have an old Colt Trooper that had the beautiful, blued finish, but it wore off fast. Can't wait for my new python to come in.
doing great job maybe pick movie gun of week love your thoughts
How did you do the gold inlay on the Python logo?
